Yes! CTI supports the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated trading systems, provided they follow our approved guidelines.
We want traders to use tools that genuinely reflect their own strategy, while keeping the trading environment fair, ethical, and safe for everyone.
β EA Usage Rules by Program
π· 1-Step Challenge
You may use any third-party EA, even if you do not own the source code.
Using a popular or widely distributed EA may put your account at risk of a Coordinated trading violation if it produces trades highly similar (entry, timing, size, behaviour) to those of other CTI traders.
π· 2-Step Challenge, Instant Funding & Instant Funding Pro
These programs require full ownership and transparency of the EA you use.
To use an EA on these accounts, you must:
βοΈ Own the EA (not rented, not shared, not purchased without source code).
βοΈ Provide the full source code to CTI upon request.
βοΈ Demonstrate that the EA reflects your own trading strategy.
This rule ensures all automated trading is genuine, traceable, and aligned with your personal trading style, not someone elseβs signals or systems.
However:
You must provide the EA source code to CTI upon request so our risk team can verify its behaviour and ensure it does not violate prohibited trading methods.
β What Is Not Allowed (All Programs)
To protect the integrity of our platform, the following automated behaviours are strictly prohibited:
Exploiting Market or Price Feed Inefficiencies
This includes bots that attempt to:
β EAs that scalp during rollover to exploit price feed around 00:00 server time.
β Gaps or news scalping bots that open and close trades right before or during major news events or significant price gaps.
β Arbitrage to exploit price delays or differences between platforms or brokers.
β Take advantage of any incorrect or delayed pricing.
β Open/close trades instantly during news spikes.
High-Frequency Trading or Ultra-Fast Scalping
β HFT.
β Tick-scalping.
β Micro-scalping.
β Emulators.
β Systems sending extremely high order frequency.
These styles distort normal trading behaviour and are not permitted.
Arbitrage Bots
All forms of arbitrage are prohibited, including:
β Latency arbitrage
β Reverse arbitrage
β Hedge arbitrage
These systems distort real trading performance and undermine fair funding evaluations.
CTI supports automated trading when it reflects your own strategy, logic, and skill.
Any system designed to exploit feeds, manipulate execution, or mirror another traderβs performance is not allowed.
